You May Be Batman, But You're Damn Scary

So I just got finished watching American Psycho starring Christian Bale, Willem Dafoe, Jared Leto, and Reese Witherspoon. I was really excited to this movie because I'm a huge fan of Bale and Leto and I completely respect Dafoe. He kicks ass. But after watching it I'm a little unnerved. It's very very psycho. Scary. This is the type of movie where a facial expression says it all and it's a truly terrifying facial expression.

Christian Bale, you may have a nice ass, but you are freaky as all hell.

Are there any movies you have seen that freak you out?

I don't know if this is what you're asking, but I hate the Ring 2. I love scary movies and suspense movies and horror movies, but the movies have to have an acceptable out. I can stretch reality and all, but there has to be some shred of believability to the ending. Just an ounce. During that movie, I was tense and couldn't breathe and kept repeating 'there is no way out of this, there is no way out of this.' It was not enjoyable.

As a person who hates..I mean HATES scary movies, there are tons of movies that freak me out and that I find disturbing. I have to say the first scary movie I watched and therefore the one that freaked me out to know end was Chucky. *shivers*

Good to know. I shall be adding this to my list of Movies I Never Want To See.

I hate scary movies. Hate them. Silence of the Lambs ruined me for life. Thanks a lot Buffalo Bill.

And I will not be reading the book either.

I love all the aformentioned actors and don't think I want to see this movie because of that.

Silence of the Lambs is up there for me. I saw about 25 minutes of Candyman and NEVER will EVER watch another movie like that again. NO THANKS! Nightmares galore.

Oh yeah Iris, I watched part of Candyman when T & I started dating. I also watched parts of that one movie with the "guy" who has pins or something all over his face. (what is that one?)

I wanted to impress him but I think screaming, crying, and being huddled under the covers with my stuffed animal didn't really impress him much, just warn him to never let me watch scary movies with him!
